Also, the ICA and the NIDDK co-sponsor International Scientific Symposia for researchers and clinicians, where the most current IC research findings are presented. The ICA represents IC at related medical conferences worldwide.
• Our Toll-free number: 1-800-HELP ICA has been providing hotline help to the IC community since 1996.
• ICA National Patient Support Advocates: Nationwide volunteers provide telephone support to sufferers of IC and assist them in local medical help. They also disseminate IC information to their community health clinics and libraries.
• The ICA Physician Registry: The ICA distributes, upon request, state-by-state lists of urologists who have indicated to us their interest in treating patients with IC.
