This history of the ICA since its inception in 1984 includes accomplishments that have been vital to the growth and success of the IC movement worldwide. From our congressional testimony, which successfully established funding of the first US government funded interstitial cystitis research project, to the creation of the National IC Database, to national media coverage, we have come a long way!
